Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10, 1986) was a actress turned model from India that mainly was seen in Hindi films. Ayesha Aziz won Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for her role as the lead as a lead actress in Taarzan The Wonder Car. This was also her acting debut. She then had appearances in films that were a hit, such as Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010). The first time she appeared was in the commercial for Complan which is a popular beverage for health. Shahid Kapoor, the Bollywood star, appeared alongside her in"I'm a Complan boy/I am a Complangirl. Her performance in the remixed track Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin was not unnoticed. The singer gained fame thanks to the success of this track during the period of India's remixes. Soon after, she began receiving Bollywood film deals. Takia was late in her release of Taarzan the Wonder Car, which had been planned to be released to be a part of Socha Na Tha. However issues with production caused delays in its release. Ayesha demonstrated her courage by expressing her disapproval of her father in law, Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party MP Abu Azmi on the punishment of rape victims. When she participated in an PETA India campaign, she signed a public declaration stating that she was vegan. The year 2006 saw her ranked among the Top Popular Indian women.
